Practice that feels like a match.
The same questions become a game. Times tables are a cricket innings where quick right answers hit fours and three in a row hit sixes; a runner dashes through the gate with the right answer; a board race climbs ladders with every correct roll.

Points, badges and an avatar of their own.
Finishing work earns points, with extra for handing it in on time. Points unlock badges and things for the child's avatar, so effort is rewarded as well as top marks.

04 · Together
The whole class against the boss.
Teachers set a class goal with a reward, such as a picnic or extra games time. Every point anyone in the class earns is a hit on the boss, and the class leaderboard shows who is helping most.
